What we collect
SafeGhost processes only the data reasonably needed to provide, secure, bill, and support the service. Depending on how you use SafeGhost, this can include your verified email address, SafeGhost internal pseudonymous account references, essential web-session data, Telegram identifiers if you choose to link or use Telegram, payment and subscription metadata received from PayPal, VPN account state and usage totals, support conversations, diagnostics, and security or audit events.
Web accounts and cookies
The website uses essential first-party session cookies to keep you signed in, protect account actions, and prevent cross-site request forgery. These cookies are used for service operation and security, not advertising. SafeGhost web sessions use opaque server-side session identifiers rather than exposing payment, VPN, or internal customer identifiers in browser credentials.
Email and account recovery
If you use a web account, SafeGhost uses your email address for sign-in verification, account recovery, and essential service messages. Login codes or magic-link style messages are time-limited and must not be shared. SafeGhost does not email raw VPN subscription credentials.
Payments
Payments are processed by PayPal. SafeGhost does not receive or store your full payment-card number. We retain the transaction and subscription metadata needed to verify payment, provision access, display account status, manage renewal or cancellation, handle disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations.
VPN and service data
SafeGhost systems may process connection status, assigned service locations, aggregate traffic totals, timestamps, account state, and technical diagnostics required to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and protect the service. We do not use this operational data to build advertising profiles.
Support and AI assistance
Website and Telegram support may use SafeGhost's automated AI support employee. Support messages, relevant account context, troubleshooting results, and escalation records may be processed so the system can answer questions, diagnose common issues, and hand unresolved cases to a human. Account-sensitive information is only available after appropriate customer verification.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to operate SafeGhost, such as payment, infrastructure, email-delivery, monitoring, and support providers, or when required by law. We do not sell customer data.
Retention
We keep data only for as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, security, support, payment reconciliation, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Different categories of records may have different retention periods.
Credential protection
Your private VPN subscription URL is sensitive. SafeGhost does not place it in email, analytics URLs, browser query strings, or ordinary public logs. Credential display in the website account requires an authenticated session and uses no-store protections.
Your requests
You may contact SafeGhost Support to request access, correction, or deletion of account-related information. Some records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, payment disputes, or legal obligations.
Contact
For privacy or account questions, use SafeGhost Support. Telegram remains available as an optional support channel.
